Aethelgard was founded in 2018 as a small writers’ room above a cinematheque. Today we operate as a full-service studio between London, Paris and Berlin — developing original films, producing commercial work and finishing everything under one cinematic roof.

We believe in patience as a creative tool. Our slate is intentionally small, our crews intentionally senior. Every project is treated as a piece of cinema — whether it lives in a festival, a feed, or a stadium.
